Born and raised in Philadelphia, Andrew Lear was a passionate fan of television from early childhood where he learned the facts of life from watching 'The Facts Of Life'. After feeling like he hit the pinnacle of his showbiz career as a movie theater usher at an AMC 2-plex (now 50-plex) in high school, Andrew soon learned there was a brighter future out there then just pretzel bites and stolen 'Doc Hollywood' trailer reels. Upon graduation from The University Of Arizona, Andrew began his career as an assistant to Irv Schecter at the talent and literary agency, Irv Schecter Company. In 1999 Lear joined Spring Creek Productions where he worked in the development of television longform and mini-series including 'Iron Jawed Angels' for HBO. With a passion for artist representation, Lear joined the Lapides Entertainment Organization in 2001 as a talent manager and most recently served as president of Lapides/Lear Entertainment's talent management division. Fate came calling late 2011 when Andrew met Jon Rubinstein and the Authentic team thus creating a new and enlightening chapter in his career. Lear's current duties include talent management in non-fiction programming and all media in addition to series packaging & development for non-scripted cable, network, and syndication television.
